Nonprofit SEO services

Get found for the work you actually do.

Technical audits, search-intent research, content strategy, and ongoing optimization for mission-driven websites — so the right people find your programs before they find a competitor.

The problem

Mission pages that nobody can find are expensive wallpaper.

Many organizations publish thoughtful content and still lose search visibility. Program pages sit under a pile of news posts. Old URLs die in a redesign. Tracking never got finished. SEO for nonprofits is less about tricks and more about making the site honest, structured, and measurable.

Person reviewing a prioritized checklist while a growth roadmap lifts upward
  • Program pages buried under news

Blog archives outrank the services people came looking for. Searchers bounce; Google notices.

  • Duplicate or near-duplicate content

Multiple pages compete for the same query. None of them win cleanly.

  • Redesigns without redirect discipline

URL changes without a mapped 301 plan quietly erase years of earned visibility.

  • Tracking that cannot answer basic questions

If Search Console and GA4 disagree — or donation goals are missing — teams optimize in the dark.

What's included

Practical SEO work, not a keyword dump.

Every engagement starts with diagnosis. From there we build a prioritized plan your team can approve and your CMS can actually support.

  • 01

    Technical SEO audit

Crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data gaps, and template-level issues that keep program pages out of search results.

  • 02

    Keyword & search-intent research

We map how people search for your programs, services, and causes — then prioritize pages that can realistically win those queries.

  • 03

    Site architecture & internal linking

Clear hierarchies, hub pages, and internal links so Google and humans can find the work that matters most.

  • 04

    On-page optimization

Titles, meta descriptions, headings, content structure, and schema recommendations tied to real search intent — not keyword stuffing.

  • 05

    Content strategy & consolidation

What to write, what to merge, and what to prune. Thin or competing pages get a plan instead of more noise.

  • 06

    Measurement & reporting

Search Console and GA4 setup or cleanup, conversion tracking where it fits, and reporting your team can act on monthly.

How engagements work

Four stages. Clear ownership.

01

Diagnose

We review Search Console, analytics, crawl data, and your top program pages. You get a plain-language diagnosis — not a 90-page PDF you will never open.

02

Prioritize

We stack-rank fixes by impact and effort: technical blockers first, then architecture, then content and on-page work.

03

Implement

We work in your CMS or alongside your developers. Changes are documented so your team understands what moved and why.

04

Measure & refine

Monthly reviews of rankings, queries, and conversions. We adjust based on what searchers actually do — not vanity traffic.

Who it's for

Teams ready to treat search as infrastructure.

Best fit when you have programs, services, or locations people actively search for — and someone internally who can approve content or technical changes.

  • Comms and development leads who own the website
  • Orgs preparing for or recovering from a redesign
  • Teams with Search Console access and a maintainable CMS

When SEO can wait

If forms fail, hosting is unstable, or nobody can publish without a developer ticket, we will say so. Sometimes web design or a website risk review is the honest first step.

Questions

Before we dig into Search Console.

What do nonprofit SEO services actually include?
Technical audits, keyword and intent research, architecture and internal linking, on-page optimization, content strategy (including consolidation), Search Console and GA4 support, and ongoing reporting. Local SEO is included when location matters for your programs.
How is this different from SEO built into a website redesign?
A redesign engagement includes foundational SEO — semantic HTML, performance, and basic on-page work. Dedicated SEO goes deeper into research, content prioritization, consolidation, and month-to-month optimization after launch.
Can you protect SEO during a website redesign or migration?
Yes. URL mapping, redirects, metadata migration, and post-launch monitoring are part of how we approach redesigns. If you are already mid-rebuild, we can still audit the plan before launch.
Who is this service a good fit for?
Organizations with a live website, clear programs or services worth ranking for, and capacity to approve content or technical changes. If your site is brand new and unfinished, we usually start with web strategy first.
When is SEO not the right immediate priority?
When donation forms are broken, the CMS is unmaintainable, or leadership has not agreed what success looks like. Fixing conversion and publishing basics first often returns more than chasing rankings alone.
Do you guarantee rankings or traffic growth?
No. Search results change, competitors publish, and Google updates algorithms. We commit to clear diagnosis, prioritized work, and honest reporting — not guaranteed positions.
